I first started noticing all the talk in the media about the so-called “nasties” in skincare, but it wasn’t until I had my daughters that I really began to pay attention to what we were using every day.
When one of my children developed eczema, I found myself looking much more closely at the ingredients in the products we had around the home. From talcum powder and shampoos to laundry detergents, I started questioning what was actually in the products we were using on our skin, our clothes and around our family.
Little by little, I began making changes to the things we bought. Then, when I had the opportunity to learn how to make cold process soap, I was completely hooked! What started as something I was doing for my own family soon became a real passion. I began reading ingredient labels, researching individual ingredients and learning more about what we put on our skin every day.
As they say, the rest is history!
What started as a personal journey for my family has grown into a passion for creating a range of products, from handmade soaps and shampoo bars to magnesium creams, beard oils and many other skincare items.
My aim is simple: to create quality skincare that families can feel confident choosing and enjoy as part of their everyday routines, knowing they are safe for all members of the family.
Every one of my products has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) and is safety assessed by a Chartered Chemist, giving you confidence that the products have been professionally assessed for cosmetic use.

As a small business, we simply can’t afford the extensive testing required to make medical claims about our products; the cost can run into the thousands of pounds for each individual product.
