Nisha Katona’s beloved annual dog show returns to Bebington on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, with all profits going directly to Claire House Children’s Hospice. Now in its seventh year, the event is a heartfelt effort by Nisha and her restaurant brand Mowgli Street Food to give back to the community, having already raised over £300,000. The dog show brings families and dog lovers together to support seriously and terminally ill babies, children, and young adults cared for by Claire House at its Wirral and Liverpool facilities, or in homes across Merseyside, Cheshire, and North Wales.
The weekend will feature 10 fun pet competitions, including Child’s Best Friend, Agility, and Fancy Dress, with entries open on the day, and Heart Radio’s Adam Weighell keeping the atmosphere lively. Attendees can also enjoy impressive demonstrations by the West Lancs Dog Display Team, a new music tent with local musicians, and a variety of food, drink, and craft stalls. Activities for children include a funfair, inflatables, and more. Tickets are available online at the Mowgli Trust website for £10, with free entry for children under three with a paying adult.
